Walyo Terms of Use

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Walyo is an app to keep track of your subscriptions (amounts, payment dates, reminders). By using it, you accept these terms, written in plain language. If they don’t suit you, please don’t use the app.

In short

Who publishes Walyo

Walyo is published by Houmor Studio. Contact: contact@houmorstudio.com

What Walyo does, and what it doesn’t

Walyo helps you note your subscriptions, see what you spend and get a reminder before a payment. It does not connect to your bank, makes no payment and cancels no subscription: the sign-up or cancellation links open the official website of the service, where you act yourself.

Amounts, dates and reminders are worked out from what you entered. They are for information only: they are neither financial advice nor an official statement. Always check with the service concerned.

Your account

What you may do, and what you must not do

You may use Walyo for your personal use. You must not:

Your data

Your subscriptions and settings belong to you. We only use them to run Walyo, as explained in the privacy policy. You can export your data and delete your account from the app (Settings), which erases your data from our servers.

Brands and logos

The names and logos of services (Netflix, Spotify, etc.) belong to their owners. Walyo is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of them: they are only used to help you recognise your subscriptions.

Availability

We do our best to keep Walyo running, but we cannot guarantee it at all times. The server may be asleep for a few moments, or unavailable during an outage or an update. Your data also stays on your phone. The app is provided as is and may change or stop: if so, we will let you know and give you time to export your data.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses linked to the use of Walyo, such as a missed payment or a wrong date because the information entered was wrong or out of date. This clause does not limit the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Free of charge

Walyo is free. If a paid feature is ever offered, it will be clearly announced in the app before any purchase, and what is free today will not become paid without telling you.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top of the page will be updated and, for an important change, the app will tell you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If there is a problem, please write to us first at contact@houmorstudio.com: we will look for an amicable solution. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights and remedies that the law of your country gives you.
